TRAVEL DIARIES

The city you see in this is Seoul and at the other side is all mountains.
So cool!! No ?
This national park has three main peaks which are Baegundae 2744 ft, Insubong 2659 ft and Mangnyeongdae 2623 ft.
And we choose Baegundae 2744 ft😅, it took us about two hours.. or I think two and a half to climb.

We did this hike in the mid of June which was not so crowded by then.

Also I recommend not to hike during this month as chances of rainfall are there and its scary to hike at such steep uneven rocks.

Hike to Baegundae Peak started out easy for us as we went through the woods which crossed some small waterfalls, and some resting places in between.

Slowly the path gets elevated and soon became more and more steep having uneven rocks with small rough trails to step into.

Near the top, as our elevation took us out of the forest part we can easily see the view, the Seoul city.

There are cables and ropes to help us get up to the peak at the very steep parts of the climb.
The hike is dangerous and any misstep could easily lead to serious injury, but do not fear, one can see everyone from elderly to kids doing the hike.

Just go with the flow and You can do it!🤘
Happy Puppies!! :P

So heres something which I really-really wanted to share.
Though I was so much afraid at a point, but soon I completed this I was so much contended that I did something like this in my life.
I definetly am going to tell this story to my grandkids🤣 wow!!

Soon we reached the top, we were mesmerized with the view it was having.
Just imagine the whole city at one side and all mountains at other while you in the top most peak, middle of both, watching Netflix with a cup of coffee☕or noodle🥡😂(my bad!! I didn't had any😶)

We took loads of pictures at that point until some droplets fall on our camera and we realise that now its time we better should head back. But who cares until it don't rain(we ignored the sign!) ↡
See the sign?? Yes black clouds...

We were so excited and happy, but no! this hike was about to give us surpriseeee.
By the time we completed photo session📸😄 and put camera back to pocket it started raining.
It was just 60 secs we started to go down and ice pellets(hailstorms) started falling🌨❄

O Lord! that was the point where I remembered Bear Grylls adventure stories I used to watch in discovery channel.
Literally!! Words cannot explain that moment we went through...
I am damn sure if Gryll would be there he would have recorded every second.

It had almost no one on the trail and we were likeee Stuck!!!.
We can't go downwards, we can't move, we can't hide ourselves somewhere we can't even protect our bags from hail and water.
And the hail balls was hitting our head so bad..I just can't even tell.
It was like someone throwing handful of pebbles on your head...Straight!!
😣

Somehow we met a Korean guy who was checking if anyone still left at top at this situation.
He was extremely helpful towards us. Also somehow we were successful to explain him that we need a polythene in which we can keep our mobile phones and wallet safe.

We hided our bags under the space of a rock and we standing still, shivering.
I don't know what gave us so much of strength that we beared all this.
Yeahhh!!

Slowly by slowly we step downwards. At few spots I even slipped, got bruised, but had to keep moving to catch the subway on time. And be home safe!

We saw lot of ice pellets across way down. We even forgot the route in midway but managed to find the correct one as the crowd was almost zero by then, no-one to ask for help.
And we finally completed our scariest-successful hike ever✌.
Happy me!
Remember below points before you go to this hike:

  • Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and hiking shoes.
  • Grab some snacks along an a water bottle.
  • Waterproof bag, Camera of-course.

Addiction

Aap cheez ho kaya
Samazh mai aate nahi
Dil mai kass ke baithe ho aap humare
Utare bhi jaate nahi
Esa nasha ho aap
Jaldi jo utarti nahi
Peena ka roz mann hota h humara
Lekin chadhane aap dete nahi...

Tears and Smile

You told me to be strong for a while
Till I bring you to me and make you smile
I tried hard to keep your words
But somewhere I broke into tears
Somewhere I feel proud of you
And somewhere for me I feel blue!!!

Long distance sucks!
